Sometimes success comes not from what we know but how we apply it.
I have a PSA who is still learning his business and working very hard to get it going the way he likes. His knowledge is still moderate after a year but he has access to more disposable funds so he takes what I teach and applies more of a budget to promoting those angles and thus his first level PSA outnumber mine by nearly 2 to 1 despite me being in SFI 2 years longer and being the former marketing guru who's training is being applied.
Successful people always have something they need to learn so don't assume your job is over because they are doing well.
Instead find out what your affiliate is working on and what they feel they could do better and tailor your training to help them gather information and grow their knowledge in marketing. At the same time you may be learning those things for yourself and could soon catch up to where they are.
Russell Brunson who is a Member of SFI and Multi Millionaire affiliate guru generating more than 20 million a year in sales and commissions sites his SFI sponsor as one of his biggest influences despite his business being at least 10 times further along than Stone's. His golden testimonial is on the Plug In Profits sites where Russell saw much of his early success because of the things Stone taught him in part relating to how to apply his education in marketing strategy.
You can come in contact with greatness and add just one small tweak that makes that person shine even brighter and in doing so your business grows. You cement your legacy, and you grow as a sponsor.
