Great question! I don't think there is any great answer to this question. Why? Its up to the affiliate. Most successful businesses do not happen overnight.
In fact most riches do not come easily. It takes time, effort, investment, dedication, commitment etc.
Whether internet based or physical business, in my opinion the affiliate needs to realize this for themselves and there is not much you can do until they see this.
Once the affiliate sees this then you can do your job as a sponsor and assist in their success.
