Use constructive descriptions, always with a positive slant.

ALWAYS be truthful - no exaggerations, income promises (YOU can't keep it, only they can), don't tell them they can successfully manage their business in just "...a few minutes per day..." while knowing full well that most days will require more time (sponsoring, advertising, games, etc.).

Don't overcrowd your ad, keep it simple and intriguing, thereby raising their curiosity enough to look further.

Advise them in your welcome letter to proceed to Start, SFI Basics and Launchpad lessons before they do much else. Structures are easier built and maintained when they start from sound foundations.

And the New Member Pack (NMP) is one of the best building blocks to steer your new affiliates toward. This one purchase will benefit them in many important ways and stays in effect as long as they are members of SFI!!

I would suggest encouraging beginners to try setting up a blog about SFI and one for TripleClicks, then advertise them on Facebook and Twitter, Linkedin, etc., to start with, since so many people seem to be very familiar and comfortable with these sites.

Later, they can spread their wings out to their own domains, advertise them in the same places, pull visitors in so they can present more information to them.

Also, on TConnect, let their intro be a mini-ad for Eager Zebra games, or auctions.

Flyers with pull tabs are also easy to create, put up on bulletin boards at colleges, laundromats, grocery stores, etc.

Wave3 decals on their vehicles, and carry cards to hand out when people ask questions.

These methods will help beginners get more familiar with advertising, do not involve expenses. Later, they can branch out to paid ads, when they've gotten a little experience and can make the most of their advertising efforts.

Another excellent source would be PSAs to Go, or S-Builder Coop. They will have sign-ups, can learn how to sponsor, which is like micro-advertising.

Why is it good to participate in ANY game?

When you play a game, you are at least momentarily diverted from other problems, stresses that may be at work in your mind, allowing both mind and body to relax a little. Then it's easier to go back to focusing on growing your SFI business.

Not to forget the fact that games ARE fun, there are also frequently rewards, especially with SFI!! :D Just look at Time Machine, the VP amount you could win all/part of is ENORMOUS, and will grow a lot the closer to end.

Winning is good for everybody, whether it's Time Machine, Daily Grand or an auction. Just think what you could do with a bag full of VPs like T.M. has right now!! Boggles the imagination...hope I'm one of the winners!! :D

And, needless to say, people talk about good, exciting things. Think how many more members may join SFI because of what they hear about game winnings. Pretty cool, and inexpensive advertising!! So... Talk it up, everywhere!

That, I assure you, you cannot do! Remember that "...lead to water, can't make them drink" saying? That's why I say you cannot assure duplication.

On the other hand, you CAN do everything in your power to teach your downline how to gain the same knowledge you have! Be in close contact with them their first week or so, guiding them to the well of information available to them, make suggestions for things they can do to help themselves, point them to the Path of Success. Share your SFI adventures with them, successes as well as failures, so they know how to get over the bumps in the road.

By being the best Sponsor you can learn to be, and sharing it all with your team, helping whenever you are needed, you CAN assure that they are properly equipped to duplicate. From that point on, it is only in their, and God's, hands; it is solely up to them whether they duplicate (succeed) or not!

Find a site that lists places to advertise, then do some research. Investigate their reputation, successfulness of where and how your ads are advertised. Is the site new? Is it overused?

What and to whom you want to advertise will also have bearing on where you advertise.

To find ad spots that will be of help to you will require some homework on your part, but will be well worth it in the long run.

Utilize ALL the training from SFI to its, and your, maximum potential. The training here is so thorough, and easy to understand/follow, that leading the team you create should come almost naturally.

Take the time to truly understand what you study, follow the steps, ask for advice in the Forum and from your upline if you have questions you cannot find an answer for.

Once you arm yourself with knowledge, use all the communication methods available, and "talk" to your downlines just as you would to your friends! Monitor their progress through VP Ledger, give suggestions to help them get VPs they may have missed, always answer their contacts with you as quickly as possible, be friendly and courteous.

And do keep in mind: you can only lead them to the water, you cannot make them drink!! So long as you know you have done your best to lead, do not fret over those who do not follow! That is their choice, and more rather than less will only "kick tires"!

Be your best self, you CAN be an excellent leader, whether you are born to it or not!:)...

I would suggest some of both. I recommend at least 1 unit of S-Builder Co-op ($22 for 280 VPs) in your SO. It takes several weeks for P/CSAs to begin showing up, then it's quite often. Not all of them will be producers, but you have not expended a large amount of time or money to recruit them, either. And you might just find a diamond!

Buying PSAs will also cost money, I think the price varies with the seller. There are several ECAs at SFI who sell PSAs. Again, not all of them will produce, either.

And lastly, you can try recruiting some on your own. Trying friends, family, etc., is a good start. A Wave3 banner on your car will not only give you some free TCs/MRPs monthly, it's also the best, least expensive advertising available. Wave3 costs $1.95 for shipping. Be sure to order the free cards when you get the banner. Instructions are on the flyer.

It really comes down to personal choice. Some people are better at face-to-face recruiting than others. Some have more money for the advertising than others. (Be aware, there are also many FREE advertising sites as well, although they probably do not have as good exposure as paid ones.)

So, pick what seems best to you, and work it. Two units S-Builders is quite effective at results, though no more guarantees than any other method of producers.

The nice part about Skype is being able to see and talk to each other instantly, as though you were sitting at a table having conversation with your friend!!

You can present your offer, and see/hear immediately their response, get a better feel for how they are receiving your information. Questions arise in a person's mind, they can ask and be answered right then and there, and answers usually lead to more questions and answers!!:))

You can both feel face to face without the sometimes difficult task - for some people - of presenting a business proposition to a stranger.

YouTube I can't help with, I have only ever viewed things with it. I do not know how to do a video.

You can only run your business on autopilot to a point. You still must come every day to clear red tabs, do the other regular tasks to maintain your rank.

Once you get your team established, they will mostly (hopefully!!) be self-sufficient so you may concentrate on training newbies, advertising, blogging, updating, etc.

While your team continues to duplicate itself, you can let them more or less take care of themselves, but I believe there are too many other aspects that require pretty routine care-taking, so I doubt seriously if very much of your business will run effectively on autopilot! You may be able to spend some less time tending it, but it will always need your hand on the wheel, guiding...
