I believe I would stay with talking up the incredible training, for FREE. SFI does literally take a person by the hand and walk them step by step thru all the steps to succeed.

That's really pretty hard to beat, and your ads could expound further on exactly what that means to a person new to SFI and/or online marketing, advertising.

You would want to be very careful offering anything more tangible before they join, prove they are interested in having a business. If not, they could take your free incentive, use it, still leave. Or, worse, dependent on you to keep them afloat with freebies in exchange for a little bit of effort from them.

There are many facets to answering this question. Age/maturity of student would have the greatest impact on whether SFI would be good for them.

Financially, in time it would be fantastic for them, since it could eventually support them for the rest of their lives!! If they are a serious student, it might be difficult for them to maintain good grades and do a good job with SFI.

Generally speaking, I do not think a young student (18-24 +/-) would make a good choice of affiliate because there is too much LIFE for them to be exploring to allow them to take the required daily time to become truly successful with SFI.

They COULD, however, become AWESOME TripleClicks members (kids love games, auctions)!!:) And, down the road a ways, great Affiliates!

I would have to say it might be a good idea, depending on the PSA. If they have a reasonable command of your language, I believe I would pass emails, discuss subject, see how they feel. My Co-Sponsor is not from my country, doesn't seem comfortable in English, but translates well, and is very helpful to me.

If the answer is not fully known, I am sent to a source to get a better explanation than can be given by Co-Sponsor.

Develop a relationship with the PSA, and - as I said earlier - see how they feel about the idea. You wouldn't want to offend the person, they might be happy where they are!

I personally do not think that would be a good trend to start. At least, not too early in their career.

Some TLs have mentioned gifting PSAs to get them motivated. If they have Fast Tracked, they already should have a working idea of SFI. If that is not enough to get them motivated to try to build themselves a business, a few TCredits or small gift certificate is not going to be enough, either!

On the other hand, it's close to end of second month, they are near EA2, BTL... A few TCs might help them pick up some auction bids, or other AVP. Then, because they have demonstrated initiative and determination, it would be a good thing to gift them.

Gifting could cripple too inexperienced an Affiliate, let them know you will bail them out. One who is active and climbing, a little help could be motivational.

Use your best judgement to decide which way to go when the situation arises...

I would recommend you send a team email to PSAs, see how many are interested in attending some kind of offline training classes, and what kinds of information would they like to learn more about.

If you get at least 6-8, that would be a comfortable size group to work with. A few more would be ok, I would say no more than 12.

THEN, you would need to figure how long it would take you to put the training presentation together & find a place (school facility, church Sunday school room, etc.) in which to have the seminar. Then coordinate with your group to find out what is most commonly chosen day and time that will work out best for most of them.

Once your affiliates have had a chance to learn some about SFI, it would be time for you to start talking to them about setting their goals.

Using the bottom section of "Goals" tab on Home page as a starting point would be good. Discuss with them, via team mail, the purpose of having goals they have written down, will see daily as a reminder to themselves, and encourage them to write these goals on paper once they have completed them online. Then suggest they put them in a prominent spot in their work space so as to be reminded often of why they joined SFI and where they want to have reached by when. Also tell them they can use goals other than the ones listed; have them personalize what they write for their own office space.

Something tangible is very often a good way to help people maintain their focus.

One wants always to have positive, strong keywords in advertising.

Look up -online - the best keywords. Think about them, what they mean, images they bring to mind, etc. Do they reflect your purpose for this ad?

Then see if you can come up with a few of the most commonly used (free, home business online, residual income) keywords; THEN, using a dictionary of synonyms if necessary, look up the MOST COMMON keywords, and find strong, commonly used, OTHER words that will send the same message without becoming endlessly, mindlessly over-used and boring. You want to try to use commonality to catch the keyword searches, then use the UNcommon to catch the readers interest. They will hopefully be intrigued enough to search further, mayhaps join your team!!:))

As actually telling them what you earn, or someone else (if you know), is seriously frowned upon by SFI, you will need to be a little creative.

Only tell them about things you know for certain to be true. Without using bragging words or tones, you can tell people how much time and money you have saved by shopping online at Tripleclicks; awesome prizes you have won in Pricebenders for a fraction of their retail price; you're saving up commissions for a really cool vacation!!

Point out, using the compensation plan as your "chart", how having xxxx... members in your downline creates revenue for affiliates. Point out the large numbers of Team Leaders, and EA2s, who have been here MANY years as back-up to the statement "...if it wasn't happening [making substantial money], these people would not still be members here..."

Use your imagination, be creative, but totally honest and above-board!! You should also let them know that large results require time, effort and perseverance...

You don't want to frighten them away by overwhelming them with more than they can understand before they have even come to the website.

I think more than just a thimbleful, but definitely NOT a mini-course in SFI. Give them your prepared introduction of information, and a card with your gateway on it. Do try to get them to give you their email (or phone, if you are local to them) so you can maintain contact.

Once they decide to come see for themselves, you can begin to give them more information, and guide them to the Launchpads, black bar tabs on home page, etc. Feed them snacks, rather than meals. I think the outcome would have a better chance of success for you as well as them.

A light meal of some kind, whether finger food or something more. No business yet.

After eating, everyone will be more relaxed, then would be the time to bring up a few questions, wonders, situations, whatever, that have come up in your time with SFI. Ask how they would deal with these. Ask if anyone else has run into out of the ordinary things that they would like some advice on.

If you are the one who initiated the get-together, be the good host/hostess and start the conversation with the group, and follow wherever it goes! Brainstorming is an excellent way to get new ideas on old subjects as well as new!!
