The first thing you need to do is impress upon them that this is a real business and not a get rich quick scheme. Let them know how long SFI has been running and how successful it is. Explain that if they were trying to set up an offline business they would need property and possibly staff.

As SFI is an online business these overheads are not required, but the business does not build itself. Building a business is a long process, but it is well worth taking the time to build it properly.

Everybody's opinion of success varies. What you may think of success others may scorn at.

I measure my success by completing my goals on a monthly basis. If I am able to encourage my affiliates to become EA2's then that is also a success.

Each month I reappraise my goals. As they get higher and higher I will eventually get to the point of total financial independence and I will then consider my success as complete.

Ensure you give new and accurate information in your answers. Try to avoid just giving out the links to the pages where the information is held on the SFI site.

Don't just write down exactly what it says on the SFI website. If someone is asking a question it is a sure bet they are looking for advice that won't necessarily be found on the SFI site. They are looking for fresh and alternative information, something that you may have found useful in your work as an SFI affiliate.

A lot of the keywords you will be using will depend on the demographic of those that will be receiving the ads. The keywords will also depend upon the product you are promoting.
You may wish to put the emphasis on SFI as a long term business, or you may be promoting Tripleclicks to prospective PRM's
You may also want to promote to potential ECA's.

There are a myriad of keywords that you can use to promote all that SFI and TripleClicks have to offer. I personally would avoid words like free when promoting SFI as I don't want to recruit a load of freeloaders. My aim is to promote those that are willing to work to earn a good income.

What are the best keywords to use? I would sugest you use any keyword that gets the message out to the potential customers you are trying to reach.

The best way to reach a specific target group is by advertising in the places they are going to be looking for information. For example you could advertise in college magazines or on campus if you were aiming your advertising at students.

The same applies for any of the different groups that you want to target. Find blogs or forums that attract these people and start posting on them. Some forums allow a signature although these are getting less and less.
Before you start leaving ads on blogs or in forums make sure the rules for those particular sites allow the signatures.

If not then wait for your opportunity. Wait until someone asks a question that you can answer and legitimately leave them your SFI link. You could also go about getting backlinks to your site from other blogs.

They will not have to lay out large sums of money to start in the business and it will give them a good footing in the internet business way of life.

Sign ups to the SFI program come from a variety of places, including but not restricted too paid to sign up programs. These programs pay people to sign up to various free programs. Very rarely do those who come from this method of sign ups even score 1 VP. In fact they often give fictitious email addresses so you can never contact them!

Others sign up and work hard for the first month when it is easy to obtain EA with no money to pay out and then in month 2 when they need to purchase something to get their points for EA they leave the program.

Many only join to try and make quick money. When they realise this is not possible with SFI they lose interest.

Some join on a whim, (probably because it was free), and when they look into the program it is not what they were looking for.

When ever you have a free to join program you will get the tire kickers that join because it is free.

It is up to you to make sure any ads you put out ensure those joining realize what they are getting in to.

I have already started using my JMT gateway. This gateway gives me an SFI page with a personalized touch, so the person receiving it can see they are dealing with an individual.

Advertising and gaining PSAs often means making friendships online. It is much better to attempt to start that friendship when someone can see your photo in front of them along with some of your achievements.
